ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Ethics & Transparency Statement

Effective Date: February 2026  ·  Reviewed Annually

Our Position on Artificial Intelligence

At Influence Marketing & PR, we believe AI is one of the most consequential tools of our time. We also believe it must be used with deliberate intention, ethical clarity, and a firm commitment to honesty.

We serve organizations whose credibility cannot be compromised, healthcare providers, legal professionals, civic institutions, and policy-driven environments. In these spaces, careless AI adoption is not just a brand risk. It is a trust risk. And trust, once damaged, is extraordinarily difficult to rebuild.

This statement outlines how we use AI within our practice, what we will not do, and the standards we hold ourselves to, and help our clients uphold.

How We Use Artificial Intelligence

We use AI as a strategic tool, not a replacement for human expertise, judgment, or accountability. Specifically, AI assists us in the following areas:

  • Content research and ideation to support our strategists in developing authoritative, accurate material.

  • Draft generation and editing, always reviewed, refined, and approved by a human strategist before delivery.

  • Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) analysis to identify how AI systems currently interpret and reference our clients' expertise.

  • Strategic modeling to support campaign planning and audience intelligence.

  • Internal workflow efficiency, drafting communications, documentation, and operational frameworks.

Every client deliverable produced with AI assistance is reviewed and validated by a human expert before it leaves our hands. We do not publish, present, or distribute AI-generated content that has not been critically evaluated for accuracy, appropriateness, and alignment with client standards.

Our Commitments

Transparency

We are open with our clients about when and how AI is used in their work. We will never obscure AI involvement in a deliverable or represent AI-assisted work as purely human-authored when disclosure is relevant. If a client asks whether AI was used in their project, the honest answer will always be provided.

Accuracy

We do not publish claims we cannot substantiate. AI tools can generate confident-sounding but inaccurate information. Our team is trained to identify, question, and verify all AI-generated claims, particularly in regulated or high-stakes contexts, before they appear in any client-facing material.

Human Accountability

AI does not make strategic decisions at Influence Marketing & PR. Humans do. All strategy, all positioning recommendations, all governance frameworks, and all client counsel originate from and are owned by our team. AI is a tool in our process, not the author of our work.

Data Privacy

We do not input confidential client information, proprietary business data, or sensitive personal information into public-facing AI tools without explicit client consent. When AI is used in client work, we apply appropriate data handling protocols consistent with the sensitivity of the environment.

Bias Awareness

We recognize that AI systems can reflect and amplify bias. Our team applies critical review to all AI-assisted outputs, with particular attention to language, framing, and representation, especially in content that will reach diverse or vulnerable audiences.

Compliance Alignment

Our AI use practices are informed by emerging regulatory frameworks including FTC guidance on AI endorsements and disclosures, relevant sector-specific standards in healthcare (HIPAA) and legal communications, and evolving best practices in responsible AI deployment. We update our internal policies as standards develop.

What We Will Not Do

Regardless of efficiency, cost savings, or client requests, we hold firm on the following:

  • We will not use AI to fabricate credentials, testimonials, endorsements, or case study outcomes.

  • We will not deploy AI-generated content in regulated contexts without appropriate human review and compliance verification.

  • We will not use AI to create misleading representations of a client's expertise, outcomes, or capabilities.

  • We will not represent AI tools as human experts or use AI personas to simulate professional advice.

  • We will not input protected health information, privileged legal information, or other legally sensitive data into AI systems without explicit authorization and appropriate safeguards.

For Our Clients: AI Governance Support

Beyond how we use AI internally, we help our clients build their own ethical AI posture. In high-trust industries, how your organization adopts AI is itself a matter of public perception and institutional responsibility.

We develop practical AI governance frameworks that reflect how your organization actually operates. This includes internal use policies, messaging guardrails, vendor evaluation guidance, and transparency communications for your stakeholders.

Because in environments where your credibility is your most valuable asset, getting AI right is not optional.
